Grieving in a death-denying culture is often lonely, and a lot of people, even well-meaning ones, attempt to censor, direct, or fix us. This book does not. It offers a series of openings for whatever work the reader wants to do. It is an invitation and an offering given with full permission to feel all the ways.
We hope it offers a sense of company to those who feel they’re going it alone, a place to rage and cry and wonder, and a portal into considering the vast and wild landscape of grief as it reveals itself.
who is this for?

This workbook was made with young adults who've experienced the death of parents, siblings, partners, and dear friends particularly in mind — but we invite folks of all ages with all different kinds of grief to give it a shot.

Everyone's grief, relationships, and story are different, so no one workbook can meet everyone in everything; some parts of this book will resonate for one person, and be completely irrelevant for another (or even piss them off!). Our advice in using it is to go with what works, and discard the rest.
